Fortum Heating, KVV 6 Värtaverket
Plant: Steam turbine
Mission: End-to-end contractor for new turbine control system, magnetization and synchronization equipment for a G2 steam turbine.
Project details: End-to-end contractor with project management, programmers, hardware design and start-up of new turbine control system, magnetization and synchronization equipment for a G2 steam turbine (130 MW el) at the plant Värtaverket in Stockholm.
Distributed control system ABB 800xA using ABB’s process controller AC800M and turbine modules. Integration with existing 800xA system.
Eskilstuna Energi & Miljö
Plant: BFB Fastbränslepanna
Mission: End-to-end delivery for installation of a new boiler safety system.
Project details: End-to-end delivery with hardware, project management, electrical design, programming and start-up. Installation of a new boiler safety system for the CFB boiler at KVV in Eskilstuna. Distributed control system ABB 800xA using ABB’s safety process controller AC 800 HI, SIL I/O. Integration with existing 800xA systems.
LAB GMBH, Högdalen plant
Plant: Flue gas cleaning system
Mission: End-to-end contractor for delivery of a control system for a flue gas cleaning system
Project details: We acted as the end-to-end contractor for hardware, project management, electrical design and start-up. Delivery of ABB MNS switchgear with the control system ABB 800xA. Plant design, cabinet construction and delivery of control systems for flue gas cleaning system 3 in Högdalen.
E.ON Heating, Händelöverket
Mission: End-to-end contractor for new boiler safety system
Project details: End-to-end installation with hardware, project management, electrical design, programming and start-up. Start-up delivered a new boiler safety system for Boiler 14 at the plant Händelö in Norrköping. The distributed control system ABB 800xA with ABB’s process controller AC800M HI, SIL I/O. Integration with existing IFIX system.
Instrumental & control
Mission: Maintenance and calibration
Project details: Critical maintenance of the heating and power plant during active season. During the overhaul period, we are participate and leading the calibration work for instrument and control circuits at power plant Värtaverket.
Plant: New power plant, Sandvik 3. 39 MW is electricity and 65 MW district heating.
Mission: Checkout of instruments and electric circuits.
Project details: Perform check-out of instrument circuits, control connections in accordance with the circuit diagrams and set the voltage of these. Check-out of electric objects such as instruments, motors and valves. We also participated with fault identification and support to clients and suppliers during commissioning of the plant.
Type of plant: Transformer substation 70kV/20kV and 40MVA
Mission: Replace transformer and transformer protection Heby T1 and T2
Project details: The task involved considerable signal checking, voltage setting and testing before and after activation of the transformer substations T1 and T2 in Heby. Configuration and replacement of transformer protection and tap changer systems from ABB.
Nuclear power plant: OKG (Oskarshamns Kraftgrupp) plant 3 – 1450 MW el
Mission: Relay protection testing
Project details: Control and testing of relay protection in connection with shutdown for overhaul. The project encompassed a total of 120 protectors with routine testing in the form of functional values, release times, alarm signals, blocking, etc. Manufacturers used were ABB and ASEA for generator protection, differential protection, motor protection and transformer protection.
E.ON Heating, Händelöverket
Plant: P15 Heating and power plant, 85 MWv, 40 MW electricity (Fossil)
Mission: Reduce operating costs by resolving problems and control of oil burners.
Project details: Analysis and review of functional descriptions, applications and logic. The review revealed about 50 action items in applications and controls. After establishing the action items, control and adjustments were initiated with good results. The project resulted in fuel reduction from 300-400³/month to the current 50-150 m³/month. In connection with the project the bottom ash handling system was rebuilt, which also contributed to the reduction.
Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery
Plant: Testing and start-up of gas turbines
Project details: Factory test of gas turbines at Siemens’ factory in Finspång. Start-Up has long experience of commissioning of Siemens’ gas turbines both in the workshop tests in Sweden and start-up around the world.
ABB, Hurva och Erbil
Plant: 400kV distribution plant Hurva (Southern Sweden) and Erbil (Iraq)
Mission: New Construction of a distribution 400kV
Project details: Project management for new construction of a distribution 400 kV and involved planning, purchasing, construction meetings, managing downtime and inspections. Start-Up coordinated construction from purchasing to executing and closing in preparation for handover of a complete distribution plant.
Plant: Turbine G11
Mission: Projectmanagement for modernization of steam turbine
Project details: Modernizing the G11 turbine at EON’s plant Händelö in Norrköping involed replacing turbine regulators, safety systems, magnetization, synchronization equipment and district heating regulation. Start-Up contributed with project management to the bidding process, purchasing, execution and start-up.
Plant: European Spallation Source
Mission: Field project management for start-up of distribution plant.
Project details: The task involves field project management for the start-up of the distribution plant for ESS. Planning, construction meetings, managing downtime and inspections. Start-Up contributes with coordinating installation and control of relay protection in preparation for handover of a complete distribution plant.
